About
At Paradise Valley United Methodist Church there are many ways to be involved with Music and the Worship Arts.
We have opportunities for Children, Youth, and Adults. There are three Sunday services to choose from, each with a distinctly different style or feel which guides us in our music and arts opportunities. We have an 8:00am Chapel Service which is fairly informal and generally led by a small ensemble or soloists. We have a Traditional 9:30 service where the Chancel Choir, Bells of Paradise, Children’ Choirs, and Youth Choir lead on a regular basis, and an 11:00 Healing Prayer and Holy Communion Service which utilizes the skills of an Adult Praise Team.
At our 9:30 service we are often in need of quality instrumentalists that can join together to provide a rich texture of colorful sound to our worship environment.
At the 11:00 service we welcome those who have skills with guitar, drums, bass, keyboards, as well as those who have sung with a small contemporary ensemble.
To find out more details about each musical ensemble here at PVUMC please visit www.pvumc.org/music.asp
At our church we also have those who are interested in other creative arts such as drama or the visual arts. These wonderful servants of God bring their skills to bear not only in our worship but also for special events such as our annual Madrigal Dinner.
If you or someone you know has creative skills or if you would like to know more please feel free to contact us.
